We started in 2017, when Fabio Cujino, former CEO of a game and animation studio, saw the need and the opportunity to improve the experience and the format utilized to deliver information to children undergoing medical procedures at the hospital. His 5-year-old son was going through surgery at the hospital.

The team at the local hospital did a wonderful job, but there was room to improve the language and the tools used to communicate with the child. Together with the pediatricians from the local hospital, a search for a way to combine knowledge, both scientific and empiric, with the children’s view of being at the hospital started and grows every day now known as Doktor Universe.
